Before You Begin

A few quick answers about Junior Chef Society and this survey.

What is Junior Chef Society?

+

Junior Chef Society is a kids’ culinary education company built by the author of the James Beard Award-winning book Notes from a Kitchen and dad of two sets of twins. We’re creating a world where kids learn real cooking skills through stories, songs, hands-on activities, videos, and workbooks. Our motto: “There are no mistakes in the kitchen — just discoveries.”

Why are you sending out this survey?

+

We want to build something families actually want. Your answers directly shape what content we create first, how we deliver it, and what we charge. Every response gets read and influences real decisions.

What ages is it designed for?

+

We’re building content for kids ages 4 through 16 in three groups: Little Cooks (4–7), Sous Chefs (8–11), and Junior Chefs (12–16). This survey helps us figure out which groups to launch first.

What happens after I complete the survey?

+

We’ll use your feedback to shape our first round of content. If you leave your email at the end, you’ll be invited to join our beta group — the first 100 families who get early access to everything we create.
